As talk for ‘Badrinath’ is unanimously disappointing from critics, there are still hopes for Stylish Star Fans that movie will fare superbly. Reason behind their confidence is Geetha Arts skill in marketing their products. None can doubt the talent of Allu Aravind and given the long gap of nearly one and half month available for release of next big film (either ‘Dhada’ or ‘Dookudu’ or ‘Rajanna’), it is open ground for ‘Badrinath’ to make its haul. ‘Though movie secured negative reviews, it is the pulse of B and C centre audience that will come into count,’ say a film analyst. 

While Mega compound people are already struck to their duty of protecting the movie (Chitra Palaka) from bad talk and piracy, let us see how far will they succeed in pulling ‘Badrinath’ to safe shores?

V V Vinayak's LA link for 'Badrinath'

The most talked about movie of the season is Badrinath and here is an update. It is heard that director V V Vinayak has teamed up with Loren White who is a reputed Hollywood technician from Los Angeles when it comes to colour grading of the film. It is heard that Loren has been in Chennai working on the film. Meanwhile, this is going to the censor board on June 3rd for certification. The film has stylish star Allu Arjun pairing up with the milky white beauty Tamannah.

Allu Aravind to speed up 'Badrinath'

Given the flop rating for ‘Veera’ on the very first day, now it is left for Allu Aravind to utilize the vacuum in market. Yes, except ‘100% Love’ and ‘Mr. Perfect,’ there are no big and entertaining films to pull the Box Office for some more time. At this juncture, release of ‘badrinath’ could give Allu Aravind an edge without any competitors. 

Although ‘badrinath’ is known to be on the final stages of re-recording, Allu Aravind should increase the speed to bring the movie out at the earliest possible. Well, inner sources say that instead of waiting for release of Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam ‘badrinath’ versions simultaneously, Geetha Arts can go for Telugu release on a grand scale as director VV Vinayaka and Allu Arjun are big crowd pullers. Badrinath updates!

Badrinath has reached the post-production stage and the dubbing process is currently on. Sources reveal that the makers are looking at the month of May for the film’s release. This has stylish star Allu Arjun in the lead along with the Tamanna. The film is directed by V V Vinayak and Allu Arjun would be seen in the role of an Indian Samurai, as per sources.

Yes, this is going to happen very soon. Allu Arjun and Selva Raghavan have joined hands to make a fantasy flick with a staggering budget of Rs 50 Crores. A leading producer in Telugu film industry (who produced four films so far) is behind this mammoth project. Soon after Selva Raghavan finishes his new film with Kamal Haasan, this would go to the sets. Probably by the end of this year, pre-production for this movie begins. 

On the other hand, Allu Arjun is currently finishing up another graphics rich film - Badrinath in the direction of V V Vinayak. 

Badrinath's Sacrifice for Shakthi?

Jr.NTR's 'Shakthi' was expected to release for Pongal, 2011. But for various reasons, the shooting got delayed and now the movie is finally hitting the screens on 30th March. On the other hand, the makers of 'Badrinadh' had planned to release the movie on 25th March, 2011. From the day one of its shoot, the makers got fixed on this date. But now 'Badrinadh' is likely to postpone till May.
A strong gossip is making rounds that Jr.NTR has requested V.V.Vinayak to delay his 'Badrinadh' so that there will be no competition for his 'Shakthi' and being Jr.NTR's best friend, Vinayak accepted his proposal and making a deliberate delay for 'Badrinath'. It is not sure how much truth is in this gossip, but it carries a high risk releasing two huge budget movies around the same time, and even delaying a movie can cause losses financially. So, if there is any such deal happened then the makers of 'Badrinath' are truly eligible for appreciations.

'Shakthi' still has some amount of threat from Pawan Kalyan's 'Teenmaar', but probably, the impact of one movie on other will be small as both the movies are very different in subject, genre and budget.

Badrinath’s dubbing begins

Allu Arjun, Tamannaah starrer Badrinath is briskly completing its entire shooting. Directed by V V Vinayak, this big budget film is being produced by Allu Aravind on Geetha Arts banner. The film is set in modern times but it has a devotional backdrop. Allu Arjun plays an Indian Samurai. Prakash Raj plays an important role in the film. The film’s dubbing began today. After the pooja ceremony, Allu Arjun began dubbing for the film in Shabdhalaya Studios. Ravi Varman is the cinematographer. He had earlier shot films like Dasavatharam. National Award winner, Kamal Kannan is the VFX supervisor. M M Keeravani is the music director and Peter Haines is the action choreographer. The film’s huge sets are making quite some buzz already in the industry. This would Allu Arjun’s second film with V V Vinayak after Bunny. The film’s going to release early this summer.
