Badrinath is bigger than Salman's Ready!

Allu Sirish, the younger brother of Allu Arjun is known for making some sensible statements and also can be absolute joker at times. He made a ridiculous statement few hours ago by comparing Badrinath with Salman Khan's blockbuster Ready. "Check ibosnetwork.com - the top grossing film at the INDIAN BOX OFFICE is Badrinath, higher than Ready's 2nd week collections," he tweeted.

Ibosnetwork doesn't have any authenticated information about Telugu cinema box office collections. They have just posted the figures that were announced by Allu Aravind. We all know how 'real' those collections are! Earlier Sirish himself admitted that there is no chance to find out the exact collections of a Telugu film until the producer or distributor reveals.

Most of the times producers announce fake collections and Allu Aravind is a master in doing so. Sirish in a desperate attempt to prove Badrinath a big hit has brought ibosnetwork into picture. If that is the case, what happened to BoxOfficeMojo.com report Mr. Sirish? Geetha Arts is the one which introduced that website to Tollywood audience with Jalsa!

How Bunny has overtaken Tarak?

Trade pundits declared that ‘badrinath’ is scoring high at BO in spite of public talk. The one big question is why ‘Shakti’ which opened to a similar bad talk didn’t prove the same? When Junior NTR is more popular in Tollywood with sensational records behind him than Bunny, why didn’t ‘Shakti’ rose to the occasion? 

While Allu Arjun’s top most grosser was ‘Desamuduru’ with a near figure of Rs.24 Crores, it was Tarak way a head in revenues and mass Fan following. Yet, ‘Shakti’ which is released almost two months ago didn’t cross Rs.24 Crore mark (as per inner reports) while ‘badrinath’ will go far behind this number in second week itself, if projections of Allu Aravind are to be believed? What is the mantra behind such success of ‘badrinath’ and failure of ‘Shakti’?

Dad is a fan: The most rewarding moment for me with my dad recently was when I won accolades for my performance as the evil queen Irendri in "Anaganaga O Dheerudu". My dad went to watch the premier much before I did and after he saw it he did an 'adaap' in full public view, appreciating my performance. I've got the picture framed and I've put it in my office.

Working Together: He is a big part of my career decisions. I have recently launched my production house at my dad's insistence to handle the increasing projects. Rumors that say he is angry with this move are baseless. I did everything with his blessings. We are right now discussing details about the sets for the film under this banner.

Protective As Ever: As a child I was scared of him and I really wouldn't understand why all those guys in films would beat up my father all the time. Even now, when I go out he has to approve of my outfit! So, I sneak out when I want to wear something I know that he won't okay.

He Wants To Be A Granpa: My dad is very conservative and like all normal parents he wants me to stay happily married and have children. Most of the time, he seems to forget that I am an actress. I am happy that my sister-in-law, Vinu (Viranica) has taken the pressure of me — she's expecting twins!

Badrinath’s first week area-wise collections

Allu Arjun’s latest film Badrinath, which was directed by V V Vinayak, is turning out to be the biggest hit in his career. Tamannaah played the lead role and Allu Aravind had produced the film on Geetha Arts banner. A day after Allu Aravind announced that Badrinath has broken several records right in the first week of its release we have received the area wise collectionsreport from several corners of AP and other states. Allu Arjun’s earlier film did pretty well in Nizam area and Badrinath was no different. Reports suggest that the film has collected a share of around Rs 5.37 crores in the first week alone. In East Godavari, the film collected a share of around Rs 1.05 crores and in West Godavari it was around Rs 95 lakhs. In Krishna district, the film made around Rs. 1.01 crores in the first week and in Guntur and Vizag, the film collected a share of around Rs 1.45 crores and Rs 1.50 crores respectively. However, the biggest surprise was in Ceded. Badrinath broke all previous records of Allu Arjun’s films in that area and sources say that the film collected a share of around Rs 3.90 crores, which is a new record for Bunny.

Elsewhere, in Kerala and Karnataka, where Allu Arjun has a huge fan base, the film opened to huge numbers in the first week. In Kerala, the film was off to a flying start and it, reportedly, collected a shareof around Rs. 1.25 crores and in Karantaka, the figure has been pegged at around Rs 2.70 crores.Taking all these collections into account, the film has opened to huge numbers all across the state, despite the divided talk and not so great reviews. It remains to be seen if the film manages to keep the momentum going in the coming few weeks as well.

Allu Arjun, Trivikram’s film from July

Way2movies has earlier reported that Allu Arjun has given his nod for dialogue writer cum director Trivikram Srinivas for a new film. Now, the latest news is the movie is all set to start its regular shoot from 3rd week of July.

The film will be produced by DVV Danaiah, who earlier produced Desamuduru with the Stylish Star on Universal Media banner. The movie is touted to be a full length entertainer with all the commercial elements. Other details of the cast and crew of the film are expected to be announced shortly.

Allu Arjun has also signed up for another film to be directed by Vasu Varma of Josh fame and to be produced by Dil Raju on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The film, tentatively titled as Lover will start rolling its camera from September.

Allu Arjun - says it was inspiration not target

According to film nagar sources, stylish star Allu Arjun stated that as this movie was made under our home banner so I accepted to take the risk. Earlier Arjun stated that this movie would cross his previous movies collections and further stated that Magadheera was our inspiration but not the target. Its only the hype created on this movie made it to run for one week.
