Allu Arjun, Trivikram’s film to be launched tomorrow

Allu Arjun’s next film is going to be launched tomorrow in Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad. Trivikram Srinivas is going to direct the film and DVV Danayya, Radha Krishna are jointly producing the film. Ileana is going to play the lead role opposite Allu Arjun for the first time in her career. Sonu Sood is playing a villain’s role in the film. Initially, only the talkie part is going to be shot so that Allu Arjun gets enough time to completely recover from hisshoulder injury. The film was recently in news for all the right reasons as Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas decided to slash their remuneration and also put a check on the film’sproduction cost. Buzz is that Trivikram Srinivas is going to direct the film with a bound script. Devi Sri Prasad is going to compose the music.

Allu Arjun, Bommarillu Bhaskar yet again

Stylish Star Allu Arjun has yet again given his nod to director Bommarillu Bhaskar for a new film. The duo has earlier teamed up for Parugu film. Bhaskar was earlier supposed to direct a movie with Karthi which was later called off.

The director has recently approached Allu Arjun and narrated a story for which the latter immediately gave his nod. The script work is being done and the film will move onto the sets in 2012. BVSN Prasad will produce the Allu Ajun, Bommarillu Bhaskar’s film.

Meanwhile, Bunny will begin the shoot of his next flick in Trivikram Srinivas direction from the month of November. The Stylish Star has also okayed a film in Vasu Varma’s direction to be produced by Dil Raju.

Arya, Allu Arjun, Anushka in Selva's next?

Well, that is the latest buzz in Kollywood! After completingMayakkam Enna, which has Dhanush and Richa in the lead roles, Selvaraghavan is likely to start working on a bilingual with Arya, Allu Arjun and Anushka Shetty. Confirming the news, actress Anushka said to a leading daily, "I have signed up to do Selvaraghavan’s next project a bilingual and will also be doing a film with Karthi."
In Mayakkam Enna, Dhanush will play the role of a doctor for the first time. UTV Motion Pictures has acquired the release rights of this film produced by Dhanush's father Kasthuri Raja; Ramji (of Raam fame) handles the camera. Kola Bhaskar is the editor and G.V. Prakash is the music director.

Allu Arjun, the leader of the pack

Six pack abs are a dime a dozen in Telugu cinema, and Allu Arjun has them. But while his contemporaries end up like cedar wood in their pursuit of gladiator bodies, Arjun remains supple as a reed.

And for those who believe that tough guys can’t dance, his fans swear that Arjun can make you forget MJ.

Son of producer Allu Aravind and nephew of Chiranjeevi, Arjun has come a long way from the skinny teenager we saw in his debut film ‘Gangotri’ in 2003. “Boy, has it taken some hard work,” he says. For his latest flick, ‘Badrinath’, in which he plays a Samurai-like fighter, Arjun dropped out of the party circuit for months, learnt swordsmanship in Vietnam and honed his body in the gym for three hours a day.

But more than his physique, Arjun is famous for his breathtaking dance moves.

“I didn’t learn dancing the traditional way. I train with my choreographer a month ahead of a shoot,” he says. In his eight-year career, Arjun has toted up hits such as ‘Arya’, ‘Arya-2’, ‘Desamuduru’ and ‘Vedam’. In almost all of them, he is a nimble mover. “I personally like my dance in Arya-2 and of course, ‘Badrinath’,” says the Stylish Star, as he is called by his fans.

Few in the north are aware that ‘Ringa ringa’, the current rage in Bollywood, was made popular by Arjun’s agility in ‘Arya-2’.

This 27-year-old, however, has more to him than meets the eye. Since his first film, he has evolved into a mature actor. His performance as a cable guy aspiring to make it big in ‘Vedam’ won him critical acclaim. “I will do such roles once in a while,” says Arjun, who has set his sights on becoming a “mass hero” a la his uncle Chiranjeevi.

Recently married, there’s a perceptible change in his bearing. But poke him a bit, and his humorous self comes forth. ‘Badrinath’ is the first film he has done since he tied the knot with Sneha Reddy. “My wife didn’t like the long locks-look for the film. She wondered if it would click. But once she saw the movie, he said it was good indeed,” he says, sharing that it was the first compliment he got from his wife.

Badrinath is bigger than Salman's Ready!

Allu Sirish, the younger brother of Allu Arjun is known for making some sensible statements and also can be absolute joker at times. He made a ridiculous statement few hours ago by comparing Badrinath with Salman Khan's blockbuster Ready. "Check ibosnetwork.com - the top grossing film at the INDIAN BOX OFFICE is Badrinath, higher than Ready's 2nd week collections," he tweeted.

Ibosnetwork doesn't have any authenticated information about Telugu cinema box office collections. They have just posted the figures that were announced by Allu Aravind. We all know how 'real' those collections are! Earlier Sirish himself admitted that there is no chance to find out the exact collections of a Telugu film until the producer or distributor reveals.

Most of the times producers announce fake collections and Allu Aravind is a master in doing so. Sirish in a desperate attempt to prove Badrinath a big hit has brought ibosnetwork into picture. Allu Arjun's dream for Ramcharan

More than friends, allu arjun says that Ramcharan is his younger brother. More than competition, Bunny feels that Cherry is already Number One. Well, the rapport between allu arjun and Ramcharan was evident yesterday during a talk show conducted by TV9 where in Bunny spoke with Cherry on live. While Mega Power Star expressed his best wishes to ‘Badrinath’ and team, it is Arjun who keeps it simple saying ‘Badrinath’ can never be a ‘Magadheera.’ 

‘Actually I pour all my love, affection, respect and feeling towards Chiranjeevi garu on Ramcharan. He is like Mega Star for me. He will be the first person to enjoy any success with in our family. My dream is to see that Charan will be Number One for ever after Chiranjeevi garu. In simple, Charan is competition to Charan. We stand no where before him,’ said Arjun.

Will Arjun carry Mallu records to Andhra?

Ever since ‘Happy’ film roared at Malayalam BO, the craze and following for allu arjun continuously increased in Kerala. All his recent flicks including with dubbing version of ‘Arya 2’ fared on par with direct Malayalam movies. Now, the time comes for ‘Badrinath’ Malayalam version to create new records.  A source quotes that this film’s Malayalam distribution rights were sold at whopping Rs.1.1 Crore, a mark which isn’t achieved by any other South Indian non-Kerala hero in Kerala.

It is not surprising that even Telugu Fans of allu arjun are willing to see same records created for ‘Badrinath’ at Tollywood BO. With release date nearing by, there is good amount of positive enthusiasm building upon the flick all around the State. Wish that Mallu arjun will carry Mallu records to Telugu field.

Allu Aravind to speed up 'Badrinath'

Given the flop rating for ‘Veera’ on the very first day, now it is left for Allu Aravind to utilize the vacuum in market. Yes, except ‘100% Love’ and ‘Mr. Perfect,’ there are no big and entertaining films to pull the Box Office for some more time. At this juncture, release of ‘badrinath’ could give Allu Aravind an edge without any competitors. 

Although ‘badrinath’ is known to be on the final stages of re-recording, Allu Aravind should increase the speed to bring the movie out at the earliest possible. Well, inner sources say that instead of waiting for release of Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam ‘badrinath’ versions simultaneously, Geetha Arts can go for Telugu release on a grand scale as director VV Vinayaka and Allu Arjun are big crowd pullers. Let us see, how big is Allu’s plan?

Peter Heins nominated for international award

Popular South Indian film stunt master Peter Heins has been nominated for 2011 Taurus World stunt awards for his work in the film 'Raavan'. Peter was nominated in the 'Best Action in a foreign film' category for his work in Mani Rathnam's film 'Raavan' which released as 'Villain' in Telugu. Taurus World Stunt academy in Los Angeles, California gives away these awards every year."2011 Taurus World Stunt Awards Foundation event will be held on Saturday evening, May 14, 2011 at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California. Winners for the 2011 TWSA will be announced at the event.

Allu Aravind cutting 'Badrinath'

All the films compared with ‘Magadheera’ till now have bared the brunt at BO. Latest example being ‘Shakti’ that was released with too much hoopla had a sad unimpressive death. So, films like ‘Magadheera’ will not happen every time. Producer Allu Aravind knows this fact very well and that is the reason why he is trying to cut down the expectations on ‘badrinath’ which is indiscriminately compared to ‘Magadheera’ both by industry sources and general public.

Director VV Vianyak and producer Allu Aravind are requesting the audience not to make any comparisons between these two big budget flicks as they don’t have anything in common. Hmm…keeping hype in control will always help a flick to have long run and positive impact on audience. Wish that Geetha Arts remain struck to their job of curtailing the expectations on ‘badrinath.’
