It’s the season of remakes and the South India film industry seems to be the current favourite destination for production houses scouting for potential Hindi film scipts.
The latest news is that UTV Motion Pictures has bought the rights of Telugu film Arya 2 for an official Hindi remake and is all set to approach Salman Khan to play the lead.
“UTV has bought the rights of the film recently and they will be approaching Salman to play the lead role very soon because according to them, he really suits the character. Others, who will be approached for the film is not confirmed as of now,” says a source.
The Telugu romantic comedy, which was a sequel to Arya, was directed by Sukumar, who will also be directing the Hindi version.
