Allu Arjun’s latest film Badrinath is going to be censored later today. The film is touted to be an action entertainer and not a period film as some media reports suggest. V V Vinayak has directed the film which has a temple backdrop. The story revolves around an Indian Samurai, his guru and a girl. Tamannaah is the heroine and Prakash Raj is playing an important role. The film boasts of some extravagant visual effects and as many as 22 sets, a feat which very few films have surpassed in recent times. The film was also shot in Manali for almost 60 days where some action scenes were canned. The pre-release buzz about the film is quite positive and Allu Arjun, V V Vinayak are said to be quite confident that they have a winner in hand.
Although, the film is releasing towards the end of summer, it has a free run for almost three to four weeks before the next big film releases. With the promotional blitzkrieg and hype which this film has, industry sources expect that the film will be off to a flying start at box office and in the process garnering the highest ever opening in Allu Arjun’s career. The song promos which are being aired have added more interest in the film. M M Keeravani has composed the music and Ravi Varman is the cinematographer. Chinni Krishna has written the story. The film is going to release on June 10.
