It’s 15 days to his wedding, but Telugu superstar Allu Arjun is busy finishing all his commitments. Talking to After Hrs in his hotel room at the UB City, he says, “I’ve just finished the shooting forBadhrinaadh. I am wrapping up the shoot for 7Up before I dive right into the wedding preparations.”
Arjun, who ended 2010 with a great high with Vedam, says, “We’ve kept everything about Badhrinaadh under wraps. We’re yet to have an official meet on the film. It is my home production’s (Geetha Arts) biggest project till date. We have a lot riding on this and don’t want anything going wrong.” No wonder there have been periodic rumours about the film, including the fact that Bollywood actor Imran Khan’s a part of it.
Talking about his wedding, Arjun says, “I’ve got 15 days to jump right into the wedding frenzy. I know that will not be enough, but I have ensured that I will be free of all commitments.” The wedding is scheduled on March 6 and the actor seems extremely excited about entering this new phase in his life.
“I’m yet to choose on where we’re to go on our honeymoon. We’ve narrowed down on a couple of options, but we’ll take a call in a couple of days on the final choice of place,” says Arjun. The actor, who hasn’t escaped being part of rumours and controversies, believes they’ll never leave him.
“Once someone takes up a career in the film industry, rumours and controversies are always part of it. Nothing can stop controversies. Even marriage cannot put an end to these minds. Very few people have an access to what’s happening in the film industry. So, the rest usually end up making their minds work overtime,” says Arjun. While that may be his stand, he does have a little confession. “I admit I do like reading up on the latest gossip. I like checking out what’s the latest thing being written about my friends and colleagues. Sometimes, they can end up being quite hilarious. Sometimes they end up stumping me,” reveals Arjun.
